RI Game Changer Challenge Returns for 2026

College and university students across Rhode Island are once again being given the chance to win significant prizes towards the cost of their tuition by amplifying awareness of problem gambling issues, as the RI Game Changer Challenge returns for 2026.

Bally’s, in partnership with the Rhode Island Council on Problem Gambling, the Rhode Island Lottery, and EPIC Global Solutions – is promoting the creative contest for students ages 18 to 25, enrolled at any college or university in the state.

Participants are invited to submit either a 15 second video, suitable for TikTok or Instagram Reels, or a 30 second PSA for commercial placement on local news networks, focusing on the concepts of responsible gaming or problem gambling. The initiative aims to amplify young voices, reduce stigma, and raise awareness by engaging young adults on digital platforms.

One winning submission will receive the 2026 Nancy Murray Award, a $3,000 prize for tuition, named in honour of the former president of the Rhode Island Council on Problem Gambling. Submissions will be accepted through April 20, 2026, and additional information, including rules and submission requirements, can be found at www.rigamechanger.com.

Craig Eaton, President of Rhode Island Operations for Bally’s Corporation, stated: “At Bally’s, we believe responsible gaming starts with awareness, education and open conversation.
