Supporting Good Causes
As a socially driven company, there are numerous causes that we have supported within the last year, and have been proud to be able to give back to a range of organisations, charities and initiatives that closely align with our core values.
B1G1
EPIC has now been signed up to the B1G1: Business for Good initiative for the past two years.
The concept was created to give companies a specific giving impact with each designated business transaction, and allows us to achieve more social impacts by embedding activities into everyday business operations.
With people at the heart of everything that we do, and making an impact one of our top priorities, we are passionate about social responsibility and to be able to make a global impact through our daily business operations. So far we have been able to donate the following:
Support to Sporting Organisations
We have always been proud of our multiple sporting connections, with many of our staff being former professional athletes or having come from working within elite sport.
This last year we have been pleased to provide support for the following:
We sponsor the Man of the Match prize at EFL Championship club PNE, granting each winner a £500 donation to be paid to a charity of their choosing, ranging from grassroots causes within the city and its surrounding areas, through to global initiatives.
Support to Staff-Driven Causes
To encourage our staff to give back within their own local communities or for causes that are close to their heart, we match fund up to £250 any fundraising that staff complete. In addition, staff are encouraged to take a charity day each year, and many volunteer in their spare time with organisations who have been integral to helping them on their own personal journeys.
