Hat-trick of SBC Awards nominations for 2026 secured by EPIC
For the third time in 2026, EPIC Global Solutions has made the ‘Socially Responsible Initiative of the Year’ shortlist at an SBC awards event.
Having already been nominated for the same prize at this year’s continental ceremonies – SBC Awards Europe and SBC Awards Americas – we are now in contention to win the award at the globally-reaching SBC Awards, which take place at Lisbon’s MEO Arena on the final day of the upcoming SBC Summit, Thursday 1st October 2026.
The latest nomination focuses on the outcomes of EPIC’s programmes in professional football across the UK and Ireland, honing in on the increased level of player protection and improved awareness levels among players and staff on how to address potential problem gambling issues, across partnerships with the likes of William Hill and the SPFL, as well as this year’s newly-launched partnership with Flutter and the League of Ireland, which also includes application of UEFA’s mandatory integrity education.
Now in its thirteenth year of recognising and celebrating the very best in the betting and gaming industry, the prestigious SBC Awards honour the achievements of operators and suppliers across all major disciplines, including payments, marketing, platform providers, and data.
EPIC has a proud tradition of success at SBC award events, having won the ‘Player Protection Service Provider of the Year’ award at SBC Awards North America in three consecutive years, from 2022 to 2024, as well as several nominations across their various categories and regional ceremonies.
News of this shortlist comes just days after learning that EPIC is also in the running to be named as ‘Purpose Beyond Profit Award’ winners at November’s Lloyds British Business Excellence Awards 2026, the UK’s flagship business awards.
