EPIC retains Investors in People Platinum status for a fourth year
EPIC Global Solutions will be an Investors in People Platinum-certified organisation for a fourth year, with the latest renewal of the elite status recognising the company’s continued commitment to people management excellence, exceptional employee care and people-first practices.
First awarded to EPIC in 2023, the IIP Platinum status has since been renewed each year from 2024 to 2026, placing EPIC in an elite band of around 8%-9% of Investors In People accredited organisations that have been judged to meet the highest possible standard in the award’s criteria.
The welcome renewal arrives in time for Psychological Safety Awareness Week and International Week of Happiness at Work (both observed 21-25 September); a timely receipt of a status that recognises the value that EPIC places on its employees and the steps taken over and above typical workplace standards to ensure that staff are given high quality wellbeing support, development opportunities and the opportunity to have a say in company direction.
Louise Flynn, head of HR, explained:
“To retain Platinum status, we demonstrated the continued focus we place on our people throughout a period of change and development for the business. This included keeping employees engaged with our strategic direction, providing clear and consistent communication, and creating opportunities for people to have a voice and contribute to the direction of the organisation.
“We also demonstrated a continued focus on providing targeted training and development opportunities, alongside coaching, performance development and opportunities to gain new experience. Our approach continues to look at the full employee lifecycle, with a focus on helping people develop and grow within EPIC.
“Wellbeing and employee voice remain an important part of our approach, with regular wellbeing meetings, pulse surveys, Town Halls and other communication channels giving employees opportunities to share feedback, stay connected and understand what is happening across the business. Alongside this, EPIC also successfully passed its ISO 45003 audit, demonstrating our continued commitment to managing psychosocial health and wellbeing in the workplace.
“We also continue to keep our values front and centre in how we work, ensuring that our approach to people, wellbeing, development and employee voice remains an important part of EPIC’s culture.”
Driven by lived experience, employee voice plays a critical role in the development of EPIC’s product range, with personal experience of gambling-related issues powering our acclaimed range of player protection and consumer protection services.
Beyond IIP Platinum, EPIC Global Solutions has also been ISO 45003 certified since 2025 – the first global standard that provides practical guidelines for managing psychological health, safety, and psychosocial risks for employees, aligned with occupational health and safety standards.
