EPIC nominated for a first Learning Technologies Award
EPIC Global Solutions has received its first ever nomination at the Learning Technologies Awards, securing a place on the shortlist in the ‘Best use of learning technologies to ensure compliance with external regulations or internal policies to manage organisational risk’ category.
EPIC’s submission focused on how we’re transforming responsible gambling compliance through immersive learning technology, highlighting newly-developed video-based learning experiences that prepare staff in gambling-related roles for real safer gambling conversations.
Primarily based around a case study with a leading North American gambling operator, the nomination was secured after demonstrating how a growing range of learning-based services from EPIC are delivering scalable learning solutions for customer care teams that also provide realistic opportunities to practice complex safer gambling conversations.
The judges were alerted to the growing impact of EPIC’s video-based eLearning, in which learners are placed in a realistic interaction where they decide how the conversation should progress, exploring different approaches and understanding the consequences of their decisions, with the option to later assess the effectiveness of the learning via our EPIC Assurance product – a quality assurance service that evaluates real customer interactions to ensure the desired outcomes are being put into practice in scenarios where detailed safer gambling knowledge is crucial.
The Learning Technologies Awards are open to global organisations of all sizes across commercial, public, and non-profit sectors, recognising organisations and designers that use technology to demonstrably improve learning, performance, and organisational effectiveness.
