Activity Report 2024/25 – CSR: “It’s really unique and something we’re very proud of”

EPIC’s commitment to making a difference extends beyond our client partnerships. Our corporate social responsibility initiatives connect our people, partners, and communities through shared purpose and measurable impact.

A local passion with global reach, the EPIC Global Solutions Man of the Match initiative with Preston North End Football Club (PNE) has transformed a traditional sporting recognition into a platform for giving. Instead of receiving a post-match award, each selected player chooses a charity close to their heart — with EPIC donating £500 on their behalf.

Now in its fourth season (2025/26), the initiative has donated nearly £50,000 to causes across the UK and abroad, supporting local hospices, family services, and global charities in players’ home nations including Canada, Iceland, Ireland, and Montenegro – ensuring that a relationship close to EPIC CEO (and avid PNE follower) Paul Buck’s heart goes beyond the impact we already make through ongoing harm prevention education provision to their players and staff.
